We made the trip down to try out the walleye fishing on the Detroit River and had a great time. We launched out of the Erie Metro Park and head up river and fished around the Trenton Channel. Overall the weather was good, but he west wind made drifting difficult. Jigging with bright colors (Yellow / White) and Berkly Gulp 3-inch Shaky Shad were the ticket.
